Fit & Measurement Guide

Our linen and ramie pieces are created in a variety of relaxed, oversized and sculptural cuts. For this reason, One Size does not represent one universal body-size range. The fit can vary significantly from one design to another, and some generously cut styles may accommodate a much wider range.

Before ordering, please refer to the product-specific measurements provided in each product description. These measurements are the definitive fit reference for that individual piece.

How to find your fit

For the most accurate comparison, choose a similar garment you already own and like the fit of. Lay it flat without stretching, measure it as described below, and compare those numbers with the measurements listed in the product description.

  • Bust: Measure straight across from underarm to underarm. Double this number for the full circumference.
  • Waist: Measure straight across the waistband, then double. For elastic waists, use the relaxed and fully stretched measurements shown in the product description.
  • Hips: Measure straight across the widest point, then double.
  • Length: For tops and dresses, measure from the highest shoulder point to the hem. For pants and skirts, measure from the top of the waistband to the hem.
  • Rise: Measure from the crotch seam to the top of the waistband.
  • Inseam: Measure from the crotch seam to the hem.

Understanding the product measurements

Unless stated otherwise, garment measurements are taken with the item laid flat. A flat bust or waist measurement should be doubled to estimate the full garment circumference. Natural variations may occur because linen and ramie garments are cut and sewn individually.

Fit also depends on the intended silhouette. A measurement larger than your body does not necessarily mean the garment is too large; that extra room may create the relaxed drape shown in the product photos.
