COANDMI Studio was born from a simple belief: that the clothes we wear every day should feel as beautiful as they look. Not just on the first wear — but on the fiftieth.

We chose natural fabrics — linen, ramie, cotton — not because they are fashionable, but because they are honest. They breathe. They soften with every wash. They drape with a quiet elegance that synthetic fabrics can never replicate. They improve over time, just like the women who wear them.

Why natural fabrics?

Linen is one of the oldest fibres in the world — grown from the flax plant, biodegradable, and exceptionally rare in a market flooded with polyester. Ramie, sometimes called China grass, is even more breathable than linen, naturally antimicrobial, and remarkably durable. Cotton, when grown and processed with care, is the softest layer against skin.

Every piece in our collection is made from at least one of these three natural fibres. We list the exact composition on every product because we believe you deserve to know what you are wearing against your skin.

Our design philosophy

We are drawn to vintage forms — the wide sleeve, the wrap closure, the hand-embroidered detail, the patchwork of contrasting fabrics. These are the shapes that have survived decades of fashion cycles because they are genuinely beautiful, not merely of the moment.

Our pieces are designed to be worn together, across seasons, and for years. We do not design for a single summer. We design for a wardrobe.
